Description:
Responsible for providing resources and support to community members prior to release through the end of their probation. They will provide individualized support and case management to assist with employment, housing, education, health, recovery, family and community reunification and provide advocacy where needed.
Education:
Two year associates degree or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications:
Must be willing to attend various trainings with the Department of Corrections. Experience with any of the following a plus: probation, parole, mental health, substance use disorders and case management. Valid driver's license and to be insurable with the Grand Portage Reservation Auto Insurance. Must be willing to travel for trainings and to meet with clients.
Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
